Open research work
I helped build RepNote, a tool that makes
replications more visible and linked to original research.
I am member of the
ReproducibiliTea steering committee,
a grassroots journal club initiative that helps researchers create local open research journal clubs.
My focus is on the
post-publication review project, which promotes transparent and inclusive research practices.
I co-ran the King's College London ReproducibiliTea
journal club as a PhD student. The club writes
public reviews of preprints,
supported by ASAPBio.
With the support of the
Improving Research Community Builder Award, I co-run
Interdisciplinary Open Research symposia for early career researchers
across the arts, humanities, social sciences, and medical sciences. A summary of our
first meeting can be found here.
I also teach postgraduate students and
talk with school students about science.
