Open research work
With the generous support of the
Improving Research Community Builder Award, I co-run
Interdisciplinary Open Research symposia for early career researchers
across the arts, humanities, social, and medical sciences. A summary of our
first meeting can be found here.
I created, co-convene, and co-teach the
Open and Responsible Research course to PhD and postdoctoral
researchers on the London Interdisciplinary
Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership programme.
I started and now co-run the King's College
London ReproducibiliTea journal club. We meet once a month on Thursday
afternoons, and welcome anyone who would like to attend! In these meetings, we
sometimes write publicly available reviews of preprinted papers to promote
open, collaborative, and inclusive research culture. This
work is supported by
ASAPBio and by
ReproducibiliTea.
My Open Science Framework (OSF) and
GitHub pages host code and talk
slides from other projects and events.
