I am a Medical
Research Council PhD candidate in the Institute of Psychiatry,
Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London. My research relates to
the mechanisms of mental health problems and the credibility of research.
My PhD project is focused on traumatic stress, psychosis, memory recall,
and mental health intervention. I use functional magnetic resonance
imaging (fMRI) and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data, which I
helped to collect as part of a
randomised controlled
trial of trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for psychosis .
I also work on metaresearch, open research, and methods projects. I am
very interested in research dissemination practices and whether we're
measuring what we think we're measuring.
Previously, I received a BSc (Honours) in Psychology from the University
of Bath and a Research MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from Leiden
University. After working as a research assistant at University College
London, I was awarded an MRes in Biomedical and Translational Science
from King's College London as part of my PhD.
